It is constructed of a polyimide film-wrapped fiberglass that is knitted and double-braided, with a fiberglass outer sheath cover. This tape provides exceptional flexibility and durability with rapid thermal response, and is suitable for electrically conductive surfaces. Perfect for a wide range of applications including heating laboratory apparatus, gas tubing, temporary heat, valves, and more. BIH-G Series grounded heavy insulated heating tape can tolerate a maximum exposure temperature of 482 degree F (250 degree C). The power density is 9.6watts/sq in (0.015watts/sq mm).
