The moisture-resistant polypropylene backing resists abrasion, chemicals and scuffing to hold strong throughout the shipping process. It easily conforms around edges and on rough surfaces for a strong seal. This tape is suitable for use on single and double-wall regular slotted containers (RSC) weighing up to 100 lbs.Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 372 features a biaxially oriented polypropylene backing with pressure-sensitive rubber resin adhesive. It is 2.2 mils thick with adhesion of 45 oz/in width, tensile strength of 26 lbs/in and elongation at break of 160%. The tape offers the highest edge tear and split resistance in the polyester tape line.
