Dual-element design improves the heated flexibility over standard high-temperature tapes. Tapes are made of two heating elements that are knitted together in Series and then wound together with high-temperature samox fiberglass. The 120 VAC tapes include a plug warning: heating tapes should not be overlapped and require the use of a temperature or power controller sold separately. Not CSA approved what's included: reusable tie straps on each end and 2-ft (0.6-M) power cord. Greater flexibility than other high-temperature heating tapes heat to 1400°>F (760°>C) ideal for high-temperature use on conductive surfaces.
